To mark the oncoming  Poson Poya Day  ,the students of grade 9 C  with  the  guidance of their class teacher , lunch was  offered  to  the  children  of the  Children’s Home  at Gatangama  on 15^th June 2010. In addition to  that  children were  presented  with  gift  packets. An entertainment  programme  was  also  organized  to  amuse  children.

Many  students  have awarded  a  number  of  first  places  participating  in the zonal level  athletic  meet , held  at  Nivithigala.

Intake  of  new  set  of  students  for  Art  and  commerce  streams  took place  on 10th June 2010 with  the  presence  of  the  directress  of  Zonal Education Office , Mrs. Lilani  Jayasingha.

The  Environment  Brigade  of R/Elapatha M.V. received  herbal  plants  with  the  courtesy   of The  Leen De Alwis’s  Environment Trust  along  the  Siddhalepa  Pvt. Ltd.
