Intake  of  new  set  of  students  for  Art  and  commerce  streams  took place  on 10th June 2010 with  the  presence  of  the  directress  of  Zonal Education Office , Mrs. Lilani  Jayasingha.

The  principal  Mr. A.P. Munasingha , Vice Principals Mr. U.K. Dayaratna , and  Mrs. P. Joseph . Sectional head , Mrs. G. Anulawathi , and  other  teachers of A/L stream  attened the  occasion  to  welcome  the  students  to  the  school . There was  a  brief ceremony  to  mark  the  occasion.
